You might be wondering why I have a picture of Sacha Baron Cohen playing one of his characters, Ali G on this page. The main reason is that Simon Baron Cohen and Sacha Baron Cohen are cousins. Their family also includes a playwright and a film maker. Simon Baron Cohen was knighted in the New Years Honours list in 2021 for services to people with Autism.
Simon Baron Cohen researches Autism and has published about the subject. One of his earlier studies used the Sally-Anne test. This was developed by Daniel Dennet based on a study by Wimmer and Perner (1983) and used by Simon Baron Cohen. In one of his earlier studies and he used live actors and got similar results to those studies using dolls.
